Brief description of work undertaken:
IBSA developed a software solution and hosts it on our hardware and network infrastructure, with ongoing support and maintenance .
Services provided include:
Complexity of services:
The initial delivery by the IBSA technical team involved integration of off-the-shelf systems and custom development. Adding to this IT complexity was the management of multiple stakeholder groups – a mixture of State and Federal Government as well as regulatory organisations. This is a high-visibility project at each of those organisations. We also coordinated and interacted with various third-party service providers who were responsible for certain non-IT elements of the overall project.
IBSA was chosen to manage the project as it was demonstrably able to supply experienced Project Managers with proven methodologies to monitor and manage all aspects of the project. IBSA Project Managers on this project in particular, also needed to understand the development processes including the role of integrated automated testing as this had implications on how project progress was reported and the relative times to be allocated to the construction and testing phases of the project. Two way data flows are also incorporated into the project with bodies such as Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) and the Council of Adult Education (CAE).
