David Brykman Appointment

CEO Appointed to Minister’s Working Party – 7 Nov 2011

David Brykman, CEO of Internet Business Systems Australia (IBSA) was today appointed as one of four industry members of the Victorian Government eServices Working Party.

As an existing eServices panel member and a Victorian based  ICT  company, IBSA are pleased with David’s appointment, and feels that their contribution is valued and appreciated. David commented that he looks forward to working with Government to improve the efficacy of Government Procurement. We are excited about the benefits that this will provide to both Industry and Government. The eService panel is the list of authorised IT suppliers to Victorian Government who spend over $1B per annum.

The Baillieu Government established the Working Party under authorisation of the Assistant Treasurer, Gordon Rich-Phillips to provide advice to the Minister on the operation of the current Whole of Victorian Government eServices Panel arrangement with a view to providing advice on a potential future model for the eServices Panel. The Working Party will be fully de-briefed by an independent review consultant on their findings and conclusions.

The Working Party has been brought together to review the ongoing purpose and operation of the eServices Panel, including performance and industry and government engagement mechanisms.  This will inform the Assistant Treasurer and Department of Treasury and Finance of the effectiveness of the current
Panel and provide options for improvements for consideration in the design of future eService Panel arrangements.
